More than 6,000 visitors are expected to attend to learn in depth about the very latest trends and developments in design, landscaping, maintenance, and management. Greenwall will once again have a booth at the event this year.

The 14th edition of Public Space Day will take place on Wednesday, September 27, and Thursday, September 28, 2017. More than 6,000 visitors are expected to learn in depth about the very latest trends and developments in the fields of design, layout, maintenance, and management. This will be facilitated by some 600 exhibitors. The trade show is accompanied by a comprehensive program of events.

Exhibitors and presentations

Public Space Day stands out from other trade shows thanks to its comprehensive range of products and services. From furniture and lighting to paving and landscaping, visitors to the show are exposed to all facets of public space. This includes developments and offerings for everyday applications, as well as the latest technologies and trends related to Smart Cities.

In addition to the participation of companies and organizations, the upcoming edition will also feature an extensive lecture program taking place in multiple rooms. This will give visitors an up-to-date picture of the topics specialists are currently addressing. New this year are two stages hosting themed lectures on climate, management, the smart city, and the healthy city. Publisher Acquire will also host thought-provoking talks, and there will be practical lectures on the first floor.

For connoisseurs and professionals in design and maintenance

The trade show is aimed at government officials, landscape architects, designers, urban planners, regional planners, and other professionals, but also at citizens who feel a sense of involvement in the development of their own living and working environments. The exhibition floor is the perfect opportunity to share knowledge about this growing market while enjoying free coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Public space is booming. This is evident from the fair’s growth over the years. At the last edition, visitor numbers rose by 14%. This year, more than 6,000 visitors are expected. The exhibition floor features products and services in the following sectors: Greenery, Lighting, Paving, Underground Systems, Street Furniture, Playgrounds, Consulting & Management, and Landscape Architecture & Design. Admission to the exhibition floor and all lectures is free.

The Jaarbeurs is by far the easiest to reach from Utrecht Central Station. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the exhibition floor!

Parking at Jaarbeurs
