The difference of Greenwall

Greenwall products are all distinguished by their unique core. This core consists of a hemp, the result of years of research. This research into the optimal mix of organic substances, which also meets all requirements, has resulted in a patented recipe which is now used in all our products.

Beforehand, the hemp was considered in its composition:

  • Sound insulation capacity
  • Resistance
  • Weight
  • Moisture retention capacity and capillary action
  • Sustainable sourcing

In addition, each shipment of hemp is tested and evaluated before being incorporated into our products. This involves a preliminary determination:

  • Humidity and air percentage
  • Ph
  • Nutritional value

The recipe of the hemp is a well-kept secret and is part of the patent. Perhaps needless to say, only organic (biodegradable) materials are used, without environmentally harmful elements, plastics, plastics or contaminants. Not for nothing has the NLGreenlabel foundation rewarded the Greenwall noise barrier with an A-label in the field of Sustainability.

Composition and construction

Greenwall products are composed of 4 essential components:

  • A steel frame
  • A reinforced natural fiber cloth
  • The Greenwall® hemp
  • Beautiful planting

The metal frame can be either hot-dip galvanized or untreated iron and can be trapezoidal or rectangular in shape. The natural fiber cloth used has a textile backing on one side and a latex backing. This combination forms a solid construction that encloses the hemp "The difference of Greenwall" and provides the best soundproofing!

The ideal basis for the best soundproofing and optimal plant growth

Traditionally, ivy (Hedera Hibernica) is most commonly used to vegetate soundproofing facilities. Hedera is a fast-growing climber that tolerates both sun and shade. By means of hair roots on the sprouting tendrils, the plant establishes itself firmly on the ground, and forms new roots through the coconut cloth in the hemp. Hedera is evergreen and does not lose its leaves in the fall. Moreover, it is hardy, and can also withstand frost and snow well.

Not only Hedera

With a base of Hedera, the Greenwall is also very suitable as a base for flowering climbing plants. Because with a beautiful flowering climbing plant, you can turn the Greenwall into a real eye-catcher. There are many different climbers, so many that the choice can be difficult. Therefore, we have compiled a list of special (flowering) climbers. In this list, we also advise which ivy will do best in which spot (shade/sun) and what the other properties of the ivy are.

This list includes, for example, the most famous and popular flowering climber, the Clematis. This
climber comes in many colors: from lavender blue to dark red and from white to pale pink. Here are more examples:

  • Wild vine
  • Honeysuckle
  • Red climbing rose
  • Hop
