Greenwall is in the midst of developing, building and testing the Greenwall 2.0, made possible in part with a contribution from ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).

Aspects that are central to this project are the durability and shelf life of the new hemp, the effects of using the new hemp on the construction and fastening (and, in conjunction, safety) of the noise barrier and the need for the use of coir cloth in the product.

The test consists of placing 4 different Greenwall elements model 2.0 in a realistic environment and regular monitoring of the prototype.

Because the new hemp requires different treatment, this project is also conducting trials on the processing of the new hemp within the production process and the installation of the noise barriers.
